Five Underrated Songs By The 1975

The British band, The 1975, released their second studio album called I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it in the end of February and the feedback couldn’t be better! There are three singles from the album so far – ‘Love Me‘, ‘UGH! and ‘The Sound’ and we can’t get enough of any of them! However, there are 17 tracks in total on the album (+ one bonus track) and we think some of the songs aren’t getting as much recognition as they should. Here are five of them.

5. If I Believe You

“And if I believe you, would that make it stop?
If I told you I need you, is that what you want?
I’m broken and bleeding, and begging for help
And I’m asking you Jesus, show yourself”

4. Loving Someone

“We’re all human, we’re just like you man
We’re sentient or something or other
I can’t remember, whatever
We shouldn’t have people afloat”

3. Please Be Naked

2. The Ballad Of Me And My Brain

“Flirting with the girls and waiting for me
I jumped on a bus, declared my name
And asked if anybody had seen my brain
Your brain was last seen going for a run”

1. A Change Of Heart

“You smashed a glass into pieces
And that’s around the time I left
And when you were coming across as clever
Then you lit the wrong end of your cigarette”

What is your favorite song from the album? Are you going to any of the boys’ shows? Or have you been to one already? Tell us in comments below or tweet us at @CelebMix!
