Last night (29th May) saw the annual British Soap Awards celebrate the best continuing soaps on TV.
The big winners of the night were EastEnders and Emmerdale who both won an impressive five awards each.
There was a big shock on the night as Emmerdale bagged the coveted ‘Best Soap’ award for the first time in their history.
