During his recent visit to Radio 2, Gary Barlow performed in the Piano Room for Ken Bruce. Alongside singing some of his most loved songs as part of Take That and as a solo artist, Gary delivered a stunning cover for all of the listeners.
Taking to Sir Elton John’s piano, Gary performed his version of JP Cooper’s hit single ‘She’s On My Mind’. Describing JP as “an amazing singer”, Gary said he would try and busk his way through the song but here at CelebMix, we don’t think he had anything to worry about. Showcasing his vocal range, the Take That front man delivered a version to be proud of.

Whilst fans and listeners shared their appreciation for the cover, JP Cooper himself also tweeted his thoughts. Gary replied by congratulating him on record, taken from his newly released debut album, Raised Under Grey Skies, which charted at number nine on the official album charts.

Alongside his cover, Gary treated listeners to a performance of ‘Back For Good’, one of Take That’s most well known and loved songs.

Gary recently announced a mammoth 34-date solo tour, which will take place across the UK in 2018. Supported by KT Tunstall, the tour will begin in Edinburgh on April 16.
