Breaking down the high-tempo electropop floor filler, on Friday HRVY debuted an acoustic cover on NOTD collaboration ‘I Miss Myself’.
Giving the song a new feel with another of his popular acoustic versions, the youngster’s vocals take centre stage.
The track went on to garner tens of millions of streams since its release on May 3rd. A team-up with Scandinavian producing duo NOTD, ‘I Miss Myself‘ the 20-year-old shared his love for the new sound on social media at the time of release.
As the acoustic version lands on platforms this week, HRVY comes off the back of a week-long writing camp, which he teased to fans had culminated in his best music yet. Currently on a promo trip to Toronto which has seen meet-ups and exclusive performances for fans, more new music is expected from BBC Radio 1’s Brit List member before the end of the year.
A series of upcoming festivals this summer includes stops off in Malta, Korea and Liverpool as the former CBBC-star continues to take his brand of pop worldwide. A recent collaboration with NCT DREAM on ‘Don’t Need Your Love’ went viral in multiple countries as the track racked up millions of streams in weeks.
This week’s acoustic spin on ‘I Miss Myself’ follows a R3HAB remix released last month and will give fans a new flick to stream until the star’s new music lands.
