Hunter Shares Cheerful New Single and Visuals for “Closer”

Hunter is a woman of many talents. A singer, songwriter, actress and model, the Montana native has certainly started to make a name for herself in Hollywood. Her latest single is the fun loving adult contemporary tune “Closer”.

“Closer” evokes that happy-go-lucky and carefree feeling of finding a new romance and enjoying an easy summer afternoon. Hunter confides, “Closer is my happy song. When we were writing it, the goal was to create a song that makes you feel those summertime butterflies when you listen to it. A happy song that you can’t get out of your head that leaves you smiling every time you sing the chorus out loud.” “Closer” is an acoustic pop rock thrill with Hunter’s effervescent vocals singing a soaring and infectious chorus. Acclaimed musician David Ryan Harris lends his talent performing soulful acoustic guitars under Hunter’s captivating vocal chops and delightful melodies. The track was produced by award-winning musicians and producers John Alagia (John Mayer, Sarah Bareilles) and Jesse Siebenberg (Lady Gaga, Lukas Nelson).

Hunter also lent her talents to the accompanying music video, a silly and playful affair co-starring a cute little dog named Yuki. Hunter shares, “The choice to have a dog as a co-star felt so authentic to me, and we just kind of ran with it. We thought it would be funny and different to have a dog as a co-star instead of the typical romantic counterpart. When I make content, I always have my audience in mind; I wanted a silly, cute, positive vibes kind of video to accompany the single that could make my viewers laugh and feel good. I think we accomplished that.”

Telling the story of love and devotion, “Closer” is the perfect end of summer pop anthem. The single is off of her upcoming EP set for release next month. With more music to come, we can’t wait to hear what is next from Hunter.
