Britroyal are twin brothers Kais and Mazin Oliver. The singer songwriters from London were discovered by Mark Mazzetti, the man who has been responsible for guiding the music and careers of some of the world’s greatest artists including Sting, Janet Jackson, Bryan Adams and John Mayer.
Britroyal are mentored by J.R.Richards (former lead singer/songwriter of US band Dishwalla) and they write and record a lot of their music with him. Kais and Mazin are extremely passionate songwriters and their music is strongly influenced by their personal experiences. Epic ballads and anthemic choruses are their speciality, their songs will remain in your head for days!
Their first EP Unfinished consists of seven songs including the incredible song Ordinary. This inspiring song encourages you to tell someone you love that, even if they don’t save the world or do something incredible, they’re still anything but ordinary to them.
Britroyal have spent the last year working on their debut album London, with the help of Pledge Music. Through this crowdfunding platform, fans have been able to pledge for a copy of the album as well as some incredible exclusives such as days out with the twins, a signed guitar and handwritten lyric sheets. Kais and Mazin wrote and recorded most of the album in Los Angeles and after perfecting the songs, the album was released this week! Standout songs include Tears and What Matters Most. The album carries very positive messages, such as the going through pain making you stronger and that it’s never too late to change your life. There are guitar riffs and woah-oh’s in abundance and the album has the right mix of powerful ballads and upbeat tracks.
Unfortunately for the time being, the album is available exclusively for those who pledged. However London will be released on iTunes soon. (It is most definitely worth the wait!)
