Jess Glynne and Brazilian music megastar ALOK bring the solstice vibes BIG time this week, with the release of their brand new single “Summer’s Back” – an utterly glorious dance anthem that looks set to go down a storm at social gatherings this summer and beyond!
Infused with classic 2000’s energy, and impeccable contemporary pop production, the electrifying track sees Glynne’s powerful vocals bring a summery fusion to English dance-pop duo Moloko’s timeless 1999 smash hit single “Sing It Back” – with catchy lyrics such as “summer’s back, it goes so fast, we’ll make it last, when it’s you and me” guaranteed to take listeners on a euphoric journey!
“I always loved this song and its upbeat and bouncy melody, it’s a classic and timeless, and I feel honoured to recreate it for a new generation of music fans today,” ALOK says of the song. “Working with Jess was amazing, her vocals sound incredible and I can’t wait to see the reaction the song gets this summer when I play it at the festivals.
