As the hot summer months set in, the sun isn’t the only thing that is firing up… The music charts are too, and it seems like the race for that coveted summer smash is well and truly on. Among the bevy of artists hoping to take the title are superstar Joe Jonas and producer duo Loote who have teamed up on a catchy new track called, “Longer Than I Thought”.
The song was first released a couple of weeks ago but following its early success, the collaborators have now dropped a lyric video for the hit and we think it’s about as cool as they come!

The brain child of pop pair Loote, comprised of Jackson Foote and Emma Lov Block, “Longer Than I Thought,” is an undoubtedly dancefloor-ready song which tackles the state of heartbreak following a relationship breakdown. But while it already had the potential to be a scorching summer hit, we think the addition of Joe Jonas’ vocals really gave the track the push it needed.
Now we can safely say that it’s one of our favourite songs this year, and we are excited to see how it does in the coming weeks.
We also can’t wait to hear it featured on Loote’s debut EP, which is set to be released on 15th June.
