Justin Bieber fans were left disappointed yesterday, after it was announced that the singer was cancelling the final leg of his Purpose world tour.
14 dates across Asia and North America have been scrapped with little or no explanation as to why.
In a statement released yesterday (July 24th) representatives for the ‘Sorry’ singer said:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts.”
“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months.”
“He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run.”
“However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates.”
Speaking to TMZ photographers in Santa Monica, Bieber said he just need some relaxation time.
“Everything’s fine. I’ve been on the road for 2 years, I’m just going to be resting and getting some relaxation. We’re gonna ride some bikes.”
When asked if he had a message for his fans, Justin said “I love you guys, I think you guys are awesome.”
“I’m sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed, it’s not my heart or anything, and have a blessed day.”
Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
