KiKi Holli Takes Listeners on a “NEW HIGH”

Pop meets rock singer/songwriter extraordinaire KiKi Holli has just shared her debut original single and it is breathtaking. Called “NEW HIGH”, the just under four minute song is all about returning to love and happiness after a time of hardship. “The music was inspired by long trips down the coast from Highway 10 to the PCH, a trip I often take with my husband. It helps me find my center again to see and sit by the ocean. It’s my happy place. I think that ‘NEW HIGH’ is a good song for all of us, transitioning out of our houses and from looking at each other through screens. That separation really does a number on your brain. ‘NEW HIGH’ is saying that we’re going to be alright, we’re making it through and coming out stronger,” she explains.

“NEW HIGH” is a soft rock lullaby filled with KiKi’s nostalgic and intoxicating vocals. With atmospheric guitar riffs, driving beats and uplifting melodies that won’t quit, KiKi’s debut is an awe inspiring one. The track shines with uplifting pop music influence as opposed to her moody cover of “More Than This” which is a bit more dark rock.

KiKi Holli has been a performer all her life. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Holli has lived in New York City as well as Los Angeles, bringing her love of music and performance with her in every step. In 2012, she received acclaim for her portrayal of Dusty Springfield in the Off-Broadway production of Forever Dusty. With more music in the works, we are looking forward to hearing more from this talented singer.
