Accepting the night’s final award, Bad Bunny centered the victory around his home island and the collaborators who shaped the record’s soundscape. “There are many ways to take pride in and defend our homeland, but we choose music,” he said onstage, thanking the featured artists across the project, including Chuwi, with whom he performed “Weltita” earlier in the broadcast.
