    Lauren Murray Releases Debut Single ‘Boss Girl’ Via F.R.O.D Label

    Lauren Murray rose to fame back in 2015 when she was a finalist on the hit ITV talent contest The X Factor. During her time on the show, Murray who was mentored by Rita Ora won an army of fans and finished in the very respectable 4th position. Leaving the show at the semi-final stage meant the singer missed on performing a duet with a renowned artist, but did enjoy success of the Live X Factor Tour the following year.

    Now, three years later Lauren Murray is back with her first official release since leaving the contest. Her single ‘Boss Girl‘ was released this past Friday (April 13th) and is already gaining major success on the iTunes Chart, sitting at number 44 on the all genre list just hours after release and at number 15 on the Pop chart.

    The track is being released via F.R.O.D Music which is the record label owned and run by fellow 2015 X Factor alumni Reggie ‘N’ Bollie. The label was launched by the Ghanaian duo last year after they left Simon Cowell’s Syco recording company. Lauren is the first act to be signed by the duo. Murray is also being managed by Reggie ‘N’ Bollie, and Reggie’s wife Edith Ward.

    Along with the release of ‘Boss Girl’, F.R.O.D have also created a short documentary in which Lauren and 4 of her fans talk about life experiences that have changed them with the aim to bring out the message of empowerment and to not give up.
