Liverpudlian RnB five-piece MiC LOWRY are back with a brand new track called ‘Whiskey Kisses’.
The song was teased on their recent UK headline tour, and has since been released via all digital partners. It was written by Shae Jacobs (Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland) and produced by up-and-coming duo Laconic, who have recently been working with Scandi-pop singer Sigrid.
‘Whiskey Kisses’ is a fun, upbeat offering from Delleile, Akia, Kaine, Ben and Michael, marking a bolder sound which truly embodies MiC LOWRY.
The track is full of electro-beats with an RnB vibe throughout. The chorus, in particular, will make you want to get up and dance. As usual, the five piece are serving incredible vocals and on point harmonies. It’s clear to see why they’ve been labelled “the next big thing to come out of the UK” by BBC 1Xtra.
‘Whiskey Kisses’ follows on from their previous single, the Phil Collins sampling ‘Oh Lord’. The slick track has since been streamed over 55 million times, and received incredible support on both sides of the Atlantic.
MiC LOWRY garnered attention last year, after they supported Justin Bieber on the European leg of his Purpose World Tour. The opportunity came about after a member of Bieber’s camp saw the band live and thought they’d be a good fit for the tour! They were right, as MiC LOWRY were well received across the European leg, building an even bigger fanbase for themselves along the way.
2017 looks set to be another incredible year for MiC LOWRY, and we’re certain that they’re a name we’ll be hearing a lot more of throughout the coming months.
