Songwriter, producer and creator LUCA KOALA has just unleashed his latest electronic hyper-pop single. Called “take those off”, the song follows singles “i know you want it” and “sleep tight”, both released earlier this year.
With “take those off”, LUCA KOALA was inspired by a popular musical style in South America. He confides, “I fell in love with the baile funk scene when I was in Brazil. On “take those off”, I tried to blend the rawness of that energy with my brand of blissful futuristic nostalgia. In short, it’s a lullaby banger.” With an invigorating pulsating beat, shimmering synths, and quirky melodies, “take those off” is a layered and decadent sonic offering. The song is all about a summer romance with a lustful yearning that is tangible and relatable.
LUCA KOALA was born in Russia but relocated to the US as a teenager. Passing the bar at an early age, he became an international lawyer. With music always on his brain, the young artist began to make feel-good dance music. He is also a renowned surrealist designer under the moniker ATE TOO MANY MUSHROOMS.
