After months of anticipation and speculation, the trailer for the fourth Avengers has finally been released, revealing the film’s official title: Avengers: End Game.
It is the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War which ended on a very emotional cliffhanger which left fans stunned and questioning how the Avengers could recover from Thanos’ attack.
A message from the Russo brothers accompanied the trailer: “For those who have been here since the beginning. For those who have joined along the way. For the best fans in the Universe. This trailer is for you…”.

Following the events of Infinity War, we see Tony Stark AKA Ironman (Robert Downey Jr.) drifting in space on his own, desperately trying to communicate with Pepper Potts. We also see Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) on Earth trying to find a way to defeat Josh Brolin’s Thanos.
Interestingly, we also see Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye wielding a sword rather than his usual weapon of choice – a bow and arrow. He was noticeably missing from the first Infinity War film so fans are wondering if he has been forced back into the action because of Thanos’ destruction.
Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man ends the trailer, trying to get into the Avengers headquarters and talk to Captain America. This has shocked fans as we last saw him get stuck in the Quantum Realm during the end credits of Ant-man and the Wasp.
Marvel also released the poster which shows the title turning into dust, replicating the demise of half of all living beings in the universe.
However, before Avengers: End Game reaches the big screen, we have Brie Larson’s solo film Captain Marvel who Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) calls at the end of the first Infinity War film. A trailer for that was released earlier this week:
Captain Marvel will be released on March 18, 2019 and Avengers 4 arrives at cinemas on May 3, 2019.
We are excited for the epic conclusion of this Marvel era. Let us know what you think of the trailer at @CelebMix.
