Southern California Pop meets hip hop singer/performer Michael Dean has just released his latest banger. Called “Girl Next Door”, the track follows his recently released emotive single “Roller Coaster”, shared earlier this year.
“Girl Next Door”, is a downtempo emo pop tune all about a new and special love relationship and the myriad of delicious feelings associated with it. Lyrics including, “You can be a model on a runway / or a cover on a magazine / I’m falling for the girl next door,” show just how deep Michael Dean feels and how he is ready to shower his lover with the attention and affection she deserves. Musically, “Girl Next Door” features Michael’s soulful effortless flow singing a top downtempo beats and driving bass lines. Seductive melodies and passionate guitar riffs are highlights in this intoxicating new single. The accompanying visuals show Michael Deal and his new lover spending time together in the cinematic Hollywood Hills.
Michael Dean was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up in Orange County, California. Influenced by hip hop legends including 2pac, Nas and Eminem, the rising artist also incorporated his love for pop and alt R&B into his striking releases. “Girl Next Door” is the second single off of his forthcoming new album Top Gun.
