It has been announced today that Nathan Sykes, formerly of The Wanted, will join Little Mix on their forthcoming arena tour.
After an incredible 2015 which has seen him top the US Billboard Dance chart with his debut single ‘Kiss Me Quick’, embark on his own sell out UK tour, perform his first US live solo performance on Good Morning America and headline show at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City – which sold out in just 10 minutes – 2016 looks set to be another huge year for the singer-songwriter People magazine named ‘The Voice’ in their ‘Ones To Watch’ feature.
Commencing in Cardiff in March 2016 ‘The Get Weird Tour’ also includes dates in Newcastle, Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and two shows at London’s O2 Arena.
Nathan said “I’m really excited to be going on the road with Little Mix … It’s going to be a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to getting back on stage to perform tracks from my debut solo album.”
Nathan has recently revealed that the second single taken from his forthcoming debut album will be ‘Over And Over Again’ (out November 20th). The announcement follows Nathan’s recent appointment as an Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust, a role in which he will aim to inspire young people to value the importance of music in education.
Nathan’s much-anticipated debut solo album features collaborations with Babyface, Harmony Samuels and Diane Warren and will be released next year. Rolling Stone Magazine’s response to his new music was “the young singer’s new voice: a more soulful, lounge-y, big band–tinged pop croon that shines.” with Daily Mirror adding “With booming brass, a modern set and a huge voice, we’re pleasantly surprised by the slick, R&B infused direction Nathan Sykes’ highly awaited debut is taking.”
