Irish duo Picture This – made up of members Ryan Hennessy and Jimmy Rainsford – have released their single ‘When We Were Young’.
The announcement of new music from the band was made several days ago, with their sharing a preview of the track on to their official Instagram page.
The track is once again another masterpiece from the band, capturing their talent, in many different aspects. Lyrically, musically and vocally, this track is an absolute stand-out, completely unlike anything that is currently in the charts.
‘When We Were Young’ is quite a nostalgic track, and in a sense, takes listeners back to a period of time whereby they were younger. The beat throughout the track is fantastic and is once again another credit to the talent of Picture This. No doubt the atmosphere, when this track is performed live, will be phenomenal!
‘I want to be the person I was when we were young.’
A lyric video for the track was also released, which can be viewed below:
The first taste of success for Picture This came from their hit ‘Take My Hand,’ which remains one of their most popular tracks. The song was initially uploaded on to their Facebook and YouTube, and they have continued to grow since that upload.
In 2017, the band released their self-titled debut album, which debuted at the Number 1 position in the official Irish charts. The album featured tracks such as ‘Carry On’, ‘Saviour’, and ‘Let’s Be Young’.
Their single ‘This Morning’, released in March 2018, was the first hint at new music from the band. A music video was also released for the track. You can watch the video for ‘This Morning’ below:
The band have performed headline shows around the UK and Ireland, and are now preparing to headline several festivals in Ireland, starting with Belsonic in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on Sunday, June 17.
