Multi-million selling pop recording artist Pixie Lott makes her long awaited return to music today (June 20th) with the release of her brand new single “Somebody’s Daughter” – a fiery, and impassioned pop / rock bop that sees her turn her pen towards toxic online behaviour and bullying.
Produced by Jeeve, and co-produced by Dave Gibson, the timely track serves as the first taster from the BRIT nominated singers upcoming fourth studio album “Encino” which is set to drop Friday, September 27th 2024.
Commenting on the mature sounding track, Pixie says: “I try not to read any negative stuff online, but sometimes you can’t help it. ‘Somebody’s Daughter’ is a reminder that we’re all human – we need to be kind and put ourselves in someone else’s shoes more”.

Serving as the follow up to her self-titled 2014 album, “Encino” sees Pixie Lott taking control of her career for the very first time!
Packed full of autobiographical songs that tell tales of “romance, family and nostalgia”, the 13-track collection, which first started life as a passion project, promises to be The Voice Kids coach most personal, and experimental record to date.
Having co-written every song, pouring her heart into every lyric, and soul into every melody, fans are guaranteed to see a whole new side of their favourite singer, as she leans on influences such as Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Joe Cocker and Paul Simon, and delves deeper than ever before to share what life has really been like this past decade.
Speaking of the album, Pixie says: “I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since my last album, but I’m so excited to be back doing what I love the most. I’m taking risks this time. Previously, I’ve gone in the direction others have envisioned for me but nobody really ever pushed me to try the things I wanted. It’s scary but I’m going with my heart now – I want to show other sides of myself. I’ve always wanted to do something with a timeless, classic sound that could be played at any point in time.”
To celebrate the records upcoming release, Pixie has announced plans to perform an intimate show at London’s Hoxton Hall on Thursday, July 11th 2024.
As well as previewing new tracks from “Encino”, the super special gig will also see the singer and her phenomenal six-piece band perform raw, fresh remakes of hits featured on her previous three albums.
