After well over a decade of chart-topping hits and mass international success, P!nk has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
February 5, 2019 was an especially important day for the popular singer as she was joined by fans, her two children, and husband Carey Hart for this special honor.
Dressed in a black and white gown with a bow, the ‘What About Us’ singer was all smiles and full of positivity.
P!nk, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, thanked both her husband and her children during her inspirational and emotional speech.
“To my husband, I literally would not be standing up here if it wasn’t for you, so never change,” she said. “And to my children, Willow Sage and Jameson Moon, you guys are my stars and I would never shine without you.”
She continued to speak about her career and added a bit of inspiration for those aspiring to be where she is today or dreaming of their future.
“There’s a power in making a decision that while you may not be the best that ever did it, you may not be the prettiest, or the tallest, or the funniest, or the most talented, or whatever else you might tell yourself your not, but if your stubborn and you don’t give up and you work really hard no one else can ever be you,” P!nk said.
Ellen DeGeneres and Kerri Kenney-Silver also gave speeches regarding P!nk at the event.
The star is located in front of the Hollywood and Highland complex on Hollywood Boulevard located next to Jackie Chan’s and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s.
