“Alcohol” has the potential to be the next big festival anthem – and the next big chart hit. Starting with an eerie intro straight out of a horror movie, it almost sounds like a song perfect for Halloween. Strong female vocals combine with a building piano rift and drum progressions to explode into a catchy electro-fused chorus and drop beat.

“To me “Alcohol” is a great crossover song that can do well on both main stages and radio. Both the lyrics and production give it great versatility,” Borgeous said of the track.

“When I heard the vocal, I was extremely excited, because it’s so relatable and will definitely strike a chord with listeners and transport them to different experiences in their lives.”

Borgeous has been making music since the early 2000s and is known for his fusion of genres including big room house, Dutch house, future house and electro house. He has already had three top 10s on Billboard Dance Radio and achieved a UK number-one single in 2014 with “Tsunami” (with DVBBS and Tinie Tempah). He has also worked with the likes of Ariana Grande and Icona Pop.

The DJ recently released his second EP, “Lights Out”, back in August, and still has plenty more music up in his sleeve, so keep a lookout for him!

“Alcohol” is officially out now, and you can listen to it below:
