At long last, Sam Smith has finally revealed the title of his new song Too Good at Goodbyes and it is ready to be released this week.
The Lay Me Down singer has been teasing fans with a chain of mysterious messages on all of his social media platforms.
Last Friday, he posted a photograph of his face and the date September 8th on Instagram to millions of fans which sent the internet into a frenzy.
In conjunction with the picture, he wrote: “Morning London x” and you can also see the Spotify logo on the side where his music will be streamed.
The post was followed up with posts of the announcement in Los Angeles and New York over the weekend which you can see on his Instagram.
He thanked his fans for being so patient during his long break from music and promised them something very special on a heartfelt post.
Sam Smith rose to fame after his debut album The Lonely Hour was released in 2014 and stayed in the number one spot for eight weeks.
It earned him four Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Vocal Album and Song of the Year. He also received Best British Breakthrough and the Global Success Award at the Brit Awards in 2015.
