Sean Smith unveils energetic ‘Turn Me On’ music video

Get ready to dance! Sean Smith has premiered the official music video for his debut solo single ‘Turn Me On’ and it’s sure to have you up on your feet!

You may recognise Sean as one half of Same Difference. The sibling duo came third on the fourth series of The X Factor and they released an album titled ‘Pop’ back in 2008.

Now, Sean is launching his solo career with Energise Records. It’s off to a great start. Impressively, ‘Turn Me On’ has become the fastest selling physical single that the label has ever published online and that’s just based on pre-orders alone.

In the ‘Turn Me On’ video, Sean throws a party with a group of friends. He also plays a daring game of strip poker and there’s a brilliant dance routine which was choreographed by Scott Norton. The fun video compliments Sean’s catchy new single perfectly.

Speaking to Gaydio about the reaction to his latest track, Sean said: “It blows my mind. There’s been so much excitement online and stuff. All of the Same Difference fans have always been so loyal and they really are stepping up with me. I’m just so proud.

‘Turn Me On’ is currently available for pre-order here on iTunes. It’ll be released on the 23rd September and a digital remix package will then follow a week later on the 30th September. A limited amount of physical CDs and DVDs are also on sale here.

At present, it hasn’t yet been confirmed whether Sean will be releasing a full solo album but we certainly hope for one in the future. Make sure you keep Sean on your radar by following @SeanSmithSolo on Twitter; all of his latest updates will be posted there.
