Canadian DJ, Shaun Frank, has certainly been making impactful waves within the music industry the past few years. Now, he’s released a new track called “Addicted” featuring Violet Days, and it is a track we can’t quite stop listening to; it sure is addicting.
As we head into some of the coldest months, Shaun Frank has decided that we should hold on to what is left of summer. He’s taken all that he could find, bottled it up, gave it a good shake, and released his masterpiece this week. We assure you, you’re going to love this as much as we do.
“Addicted” was written by Shaun Frank, Drew Taggart (of The Chainsmokers), and Violet Days. He proves that his experience within the music industry has certainly allowed him to create incredible tracks like this one. He has previously collaborated with Steve Aoki, Oliver Heldens, KSHMR, and DVBBS; all the while officially remixing songs from The Chainsmokers, Kiesza, and Duke Dumont. He also co-wrote the international smash “Closer” by The Chainsmokers. This Canadian DJ, producer, and songwriter is certainly on the rise, and with banging tunes like this one, it really isn’t a surprise.

Starting steady before adding tantalising beats, “Addicted” is one song that makes us press the repeat button. Swedish indie pop singer, Violet Days definitely impresses us with her sweet vocals and honest emotions. She has this Zara Larsson-feel to her voice, whilst the club sound of the track makes us reminisce about the awesome tunes September (Petra Marklund) used to release.
This Shaun Frank and Violet Days collaboration is pure fire in every way and truly shows off both artists. They both deserve to go viral with this song, and we have no doubt that they both have lengthy careers in music ahead of them. Groovy, catchy, and very current; “Addicted” is going to be a treasured track by many.
