Steps have released the music video for their comeback single ‘Scared Of The Dark’.
The 90’s pop band are back together to celebrate their 20th anniversary, with a new album and UK tour.
The groups new video sees Claire, Lisa, Lee, Faye and H adopt more of a mature look compared to bright, colourful, kitsch style they became famous for in the late 90’s early 00’s.
However it wouldn’t be a Steps video without a dance routine we can all join in with.
The 5 piece, all dressed in black, perform synchronised moves in front of various explosive backdrops.

‘Scared Of The Dark’ Steps first single in 5 years, was released last month to rave reviews from fans and music critics.
Many praised the band for releasing music that was deliberately off-trend and in-keeping with the sound the were best known for back in their heyday.
Music critic Shaun Kitchener wrote “it’s exactly what Steps should be releasing in this era.”
“Big, dramatic pop music that doesn’t try to be too clever or doesn’t try to chase any particular trend.”
The Huffington Post said “Steps hark back to that golden age of pop, but with a modern day sheen.”
Steps were formed by Steve Crosby, Barry Upton and Tim Byrne back in 1997.
Their debut single ‘5, 6, 7, 8’ was a surprise hit, remaining in the UK top 20 for 10 weeks and sold over 300, 000 copies.
Following the success of the single the band were signed by Jive Records and went on to release 15 singles and 3 albums becoming one of the biggest pop acts of a generation.
Famous for their easy to learn dance moves, colour co-ordinated outfits and classic pop sound, Steps sold over 20 million records worldwide before calling it a day in 2001.
