Taylor Swift donates to save Nashville record store

Doyle Davis- the co-owner of Grimey’s New and Preloved Music- revealed in an article in Rolling Stone Magazine, that the star had paid for all of the staff’s health insurance for three months as well as giving them extra financial support.

He said: “We were very surprised, and I would have to say amazed. It’s a huge deal to us and now I have some peace of mind as we apply for loans to pay rent, vendors, and other expenses. This assistance from Ms. Swift helps give us a real shot at coming back on the other side of this.”

This huge act of kindness follows on from a series of donations that the star has been giving to her fans.

However, it’s not just Taylor Swift at the rescue, many celebrities have been offering financial support to the wider public during these uncertain times. Oprah Winfrey has donated a whopping $10 million to the COVID- 19 relief effort, while America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel has collaborated with talkshoplive to help small businesses to continue to sell their product’s online.
