The Highlights of the 2018 People’s Choice Awards

The 44th People’s Choice Awards aired on E! on November 11th and it was a star-studded night filled with performances, awards, and fashion. Fans voted for their favorites in movies, music, TV, and digital.

Although the award show was without a host, there was enough action to get the show moving.

First, starting on the red carpet, Sabrina Carpenter surprised a super fan by meeting her on the carpet, posing for pictures, and having the best time.

Next up on the carpet was Crusoe the celebrity Dachshund, who won Animal Star. How cute is he in his little tux?

James Charles won Beauty Influencer and gave two lucky fans a makeover. They also scored tickets to attend the award show.

Mila Kunis, who won the award for The Comedy Movie of 2018 for The Spy Who Dumped Me, looked absolutely beautiful on the red carpet.

Melissa McCarthy won the People’s Icon Award. Allison Janney presented her with the award and her speech was funny, moving, and inspirational all in one- like the true icon she is. She also won Favorite Comedic Actress for “Life of the Party.”

Celebrating 10 years of her fashion line, Victoria Beckham took home the Fashion Icon Award with a Spice Girls reference in her speech.

Jimmy Fallon won for The Nighttime Talk Show of 2018 and thanked his Soulmate…. Justin Timberlake. Oh and he thanked his wife too.

Taylor Swift won Concert Tour of 2018 while still on tour. She finishes this era on November 21st in Tokyo.

John Legend closed out the show with a moving performance of  U2’s “Pride (In the Name of Love)”. He also presented Bryan Stevenson with the People’s Champion Award.

“Avengers Infinity War” won the night taking home The Movie of the Year, The Action Movie of the Year, and The Female Movie Star, which was won by Scarlett Johansson.

BTS won the music category taking home four awards, including The Group of 2018, The Social Celebrity, The Song of 2018 for “Idol,” and the Music Video of 2018.
