British country music duo The Shires have today been announced as the support act for the UK and Ireland leg of Canadian superstar Shania Twain’s upcoming NOW Tour. Along with The Shires, Twain will be supported by Switzerland born, New York based artist Bastian Baker.
Shania’s world tour is currently in full swing with a number of sold out dates in the US and Canada already complete as she makes her way around the globe with her stellar set-list of old and new hits.
The new tour is in support of her first album in fifteen years; ‘Now‘ which dropped last September going straight in at number 1 on both the UK and US charts. And now with the announcement that record breaking British duo The Shires will be supporting her for the UK and Ireland leg this September and October, fans over here are going to be in for a real special night.
The Brit duo consisting of Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes are currently touring the UK in support of their hit third studio album ‘Accidentally On Purpose‘ which was released last month and peaked at number 3, making it their third consecutive top-ten release.
