The Wombats unveil new Roosevelt Remix of “If You Ever Leave, I’m Coming With You”

Fresh from their sets at Reading & Leeds Festival and Neighbourhood Weekender, Indie wonder kids The Wombats have teamed up with German singer, songwriter and producer Roosevelt to release a “funk-fuelled” remix of their infectious new single If You Ever Leave, I’m Coming With You.

Famous for remixing tracks for the likes of CHVRCHES, Sundara Karma, Glass Animals and Charlotte Gainsbourg, Roosevelt works his magic on the super melodic track, adding his trademark emotional warmth to The Wombat’s ode to “obsessive devotion”, creating a disco-infused remix full of sprawling space age synths and groovy basslines.

The original version of If You Ever Leave, I’m Coming With You, premiered on BBC Radio 1 ‘Future Sounds’ with Yungblud last month, and to date has already racked up an impressive 2M+ streams on Spotify alone.

As the continue to delight fans with the roll out of their new material, ahead of the release of their fifth studio album Fix Yourself, Not The World, due for release on 7th January 2022, the trio have announced plans for a headline European tour in May 2022, where they will play shows in France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and The Netherlands after their seven date UK arena tour in April 2022, which includes a stop at The O2, London for their biggest UK headline show to date.
