Victoria Staff, a passionate and lifelong musician, discovered her love for creating music at a remarkably young age. With piano lessons at five and writing her compositions, she embraced her musical journey wholeheartedly. As a university student, this singer-songwriter delved into music with newfound vigour, recording her debut album, “The Blue Book Project”, and performing at venues across Vancouver. In her pursuit of musical expression, she embraced social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. Music became her solace, a means to process emotions and cope with mental health challenges. Victoria Staff’s heartfelt lyrics and melodies aim to connect with others on a deep level, as she cherishes the transformative power of music. Balancing her day job in Toronto, which she finds immensely fulfilling, with her musical pursuits, Victoria Staff pours her heart and soul into her art, creating a project years in the making. Her ultimate goal is to touch lives and offer solace through her music, just as it has done for her.
Written by Victoria Staff, whilst it was produced by Dan Hosh, “Here We Go Again” is a brilliant folk-pop track that spotlights this singer-songwriter’s incredible vocals and storytelling ability. She manages to convey a tonne of emotion throughout – this track clearly means a lot to her. The piano chords in the backing track are soft and subtle, emphasising the emotional vibe of the song, as Victoria Staff delves into toxicity traits within a relationship that just isn’t working and while they realise that there are mistakes and issues going on they can’t help but fall into their typical rhythm.
