Back in February British country act, Ward Thomas stormed into the top ten with their third studio album ‘Restless Minds‘ following their breakout independent debut ‘From Where We Stand‘ and record making number 1 major label bow ‘Cartwheels‘.
The hit record was written and recorded across the UK and Nashville and is the twin sisters’ most mature and personal body of work to date, with songs about mental health, women’s rights and their bond as twins it opens conversations amongst listeners. It was supported by their biggest sold-out tour across the country.
They have also spent the last few months touring Europe opening up for Jack Savoretti and have a Summer of festival dates lined up including a support slot at a forthcoming Lewis Capaldi gig.

And following the success of their latest record, the duo consisting of Catherine and Lizzy have been sharing acoustic videos via YouTube for their Doormat Sessions. The latest clip sees the Hampshire crossover act performing a stripped back version of the heartfelt ballad ‘No Fooling Me’.
This is probably the most out and out country track on ‘Restless Minds’ and it really showcases the sublime sibling harmonies Ward Thomas possess. The Doormat Session shines a light on how strong their vocals are and allows listeners to soak in the beautiful guitar chords.
