WATCH: Adam Lambert And Queen Battle James Corden In A Sing-Off

Adam Lambert’s appearance with Queen may have been a surprise, but his stunning vocals against James Corden weren’t. In this The Late Late Show with James Corden special, Adam, Queen, and James battled in a sing-off performing a medley of legendary Queen songs.

It all started with James talking about Queen and Adam Lambert’s summer tour. “In my head growing up I thought that I would always make a great frontman for Queen,” James told the audience. That’s when Adam showed up followed by Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor.

Battling out who would be the better frontman, the sing-off started with “We Will Rock You” all the way from “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”,”Another One Bites The Dust”, to “‘Somebody To Love.” Aside seeing the pure joy in all their faces, the best part of the whole performance for us was the shimmy Adam did along with that astonishing high note at the end of “Somebody To Love.” I mean… how could you not smile after that?

Hi! I'm Mel. I graduated with a BA in print journalism with music management as my minor. I loved music since I was a kid because it was always a way my family and I bonded, as well as a way to express myself on my own time as I got older. I’m not a singer and I don’t play an instrument, so my way of being part of the music industry is by getting to write about the music I love in various reviews and through my concert photography. Another goal? To make people smile.
