Ben Haenow has shared an acoustic performance of his brand new track ‘Falling’ and, we’ll be honest, we’ve already fallen in love with it!
For the stripped back rendition of the song, Ben teamed up with his brother Alex Haenow and his tour buddy Ashton Miranda. The talented trio posted the video last night.
‘Falling’ is the first full track we’ve heard from Ben since he released his debut album last year. It’s definitely been worth the wait. Ben’s vocals are outstanding throughout and the meaningful song, which was co-written by Ben and Alex, is incredibly moving.
Lyrically speaking, ‘Falling’ is about struggling to soldier on through hard times. The extremely relatable song references different weather conditions and it features a beautiful simile of rain to describe someone’s world falling apart.
Thanking all of his fans for their positive feedback and ongoing support, Ben Haenow tweeted: “we are feeling the love! #haeniacs thank you for everything <3”
At present, it’s not yet known when a studio version of ‘Falling’ will be released but we’ll post more details as and when they’re revealed. Ben’s been busy in the studio lately and he’s posted several teasers so more original material should be on its way soon.
It’s very likely that Ben will be singing some of his new tunes, and possibly even ‘Falling’, on his headline tour next year. The ‘Second Hand Heart’ singer will be performing in fifteen different cities next March and you can see where he’ll be heading here.
Make sure you also check out our exclusive interview with Ben Haenow here. We spoke to the Croydon-born singer-songwriter about life on the road and much more.
