Calvin Harris has dropped the music video for ‘Hard to Love’, which features Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez.
Directed by Philip Harris, the video follows Jessie as she wanders around the streets of various European cities at night-time. As she travels by skateboard, rides a bike and walks through various stunning locations, the video’s simplicity allows us to focus on the song’s poignant lyrics and Jessie’s irresistible vocal.
‘I’d rather be hard to love than easy to leave’
The video was premiered by Complex, and in a statement Jessie said: “I love Calvin Harris and Philip Harris. They are not brothers…but I love them both the same, music producer and video director.” She has worked with Philip in the past, as he directed her music video for ‘Blue Ribbon’.
