Sluka (Christopher Sluka) is a gothic groove rock artist currently living in San Diego, California. He’s a vocalist, songwriter, musician, and performer who has already released ten studio albums. Impressive huh?
Due to all that hard work, he’s grown quite the fan base across continents. While listening to his music, you can’t help but be reminded of artists such as Tears For Fears, Talk Talk, Simple Minds, and David Bowie, just to name a few. Not many mainstream artists are making music similar to the ones listed above anymore, which is a big reason why Sluka caught our eye.
Christopher has gained tons of experience from his passion for performing live, to which he credits the strength of his powerful, yet sensitive, voice, as well as inspiration for his songwriting. But he didn’t achieve all of this sucess by himself. He has been fortunate to work with some of the most gifted and talented musicians in the business, many of whom have become his lifelong friends.
In the Spring of 2017, Christopher is planning on releasing an eleventh studio album along with a projected festival tour in Summer 2017.
