DNCE Set To Become Global Brand Ambassadors For K-Swiss In 2018

It seems like the band’s passion for fashion is almost as big as their passion for cake!

Although these past seven months seem to have flown by, there can be no denying that they have been absolutely loaded with excitement. So far, this year has introduced us to some of the hottest movies while the music world has been full of epic collaborations and smash hits. But if there’s one industry that has been totally killing it this year, it’s the fashion industry.

Collaborations between the biggest names in entertainment and the best-loved brands have been coming at us at lightning speed and now we have another big one to add to the list… Think DNCE. Think K-Swiss. Now think of how awesome their collaboration is going to be when the funky-fresh, cake-loving band become global ambassadors for the Los Angeles based footwear brand in 2018.

That’s right… We are going to be seeing a lot more of DNCE in the coming year as they work hard to promote the brand which looks set to be targeting the younger generations with this latest signing. “It is about bringing new people into the brand. We saw some of our biggest times in the nineties and we know a lot of people from that era know K-Swiss but the younger people don’t know,” said Patrick Buchanan, the brand’s global marketing director when he was asked about K-Swiss’ newest collaboration.

And it seems like the promotion trail for the hot collaboration has already begun as just a few weeks ago, DNCE showed off their best moves in a tennis inspired shoot which took place in a very sunny Los Angeles.

For the shoot, the band donned their best retro tennis apparel along with classic K-Swiss sneakers and a few new designs which are expected to be made available to the public at a later date.

Now, if only we looked as cool as DNCE do when we hit the tennis court…

Seriously. They are just too cool to be real.

“Everything retro is making a comeback right now, and I feel like it was really interesting for DNCE to be taking on this retro vibe,” Buchanan stated. “They’re a band that has a lot of energy and each member brings a unique perspective. That’s the beauty of working with several people. We’re able to talk to that younger customer in a way that we hadn’t before.”

And if that wasn’t enough to convince you that this new DNCE and K-Swiss collaboration is the best thing since sliced bread then check this out. All four members of the band have also designed their own range of K-Swiss shoes which are slated for release in the first quarter of 2018.

“We thought K-Swiss’ retro-like style matched our personal aesthetic perfectly. We can’t wait to show our fans what we have in store for this campaign and for our upcoming collection,” the band said in their statement which was released shortly after the news of their partnership with K-Swiss broke.

Well, if their super-unique style is anything to go by then we just know that their designs are going to be mind-blowing and we simply cannot wait to see what they have up their sleeves.

Put it this way, anything that DNCE are selling we are definitely going to be buying.
