Harry Styles Is Writing Songs For Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor

It looks like Harry Styles is spending his One Direction break on putting his songwriting skills to good use! Meghan Trainor has recently revealed that he is working with both her and pop sensation Ariana Grande.

The 22-year-old heartthrob recently signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Meghan talked about how CAA will help Harry’s career as a songwriter, and that she believes he will be successful. She said, “We have mutual friends – he’s signed to CAA like me and Adele. CAA do everything, movies, sport, and are kind people, they nurture your career and he will be huge.”

Meghan Trainor also revealed that the singer is working with both her and Ariana Grande. She said, “Harry is killing it out here in the US, songwriting for Ariana Grande and myself — he’s really talented. I can’t wait to hear what he’s got going.”

Hopefully, this means that Harry has written some songs for Ariana’s upcoming album, Dangerous Woman. This wouldn’t be their first collaboration. Harry wrote Just a Little Bit of You Heart for Ms. Grande’s sophomore album, My Everything. Back then, Ariana gushed about Harry’s songwriting and said that he managed to make her cry. She said, “I remember when I heard it I was like ‘Wow that’s a really strong verse, that’s really beautiful’ and then the [pre-chorus], I was like ‘wow that’s a really beautiful pre, that’s a really strong pre!’ and then the chorus I was like crying!”

Harry writing songs on his own doesn’t mean that he is going solo, though! All the members of One Direction said that they would spend their well-deserved break on branching out and work on different projects. At the Brit Awards last night, Harry’s bandmates Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson also revealed that they have spent their break on writing new music. It has also been confirmed that Liam has worked with Juicy J on 10 different tracks.

No matter what the One Direction boys choose to work on, we’re excited to follow it and support their work. We’re also certain that all of their solo experience will make them better as a group when they come back from their hiatus next year.
