Critically-acclaimed electric violinist Lindsey Stirling has released the captivating visual for ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’.
Armed with her sparkly violin, the video sees Lindsey serve plenty of looks, including a dark Elsa from Frozen type ice queen, and the ultimate sugar plum fairy. The video is aesthetically pleasing thanks to the combination of colours during the scenes. The contrast of different characters also adds plenty of drama to the iconic song.

‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’ is taken from Lindsey’s recently released album, Warmer In The Winter. Made up of a mixture of original songs and Christmas classics, the 13-track album features collaborations with the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Becky G and Alex Gaskarth.
Speaking about the album, Lindsey said: “Prepare yourself for a potpourri of different styles, sounds from all different sides of Christmas music. All of which is sprinkled with a good dose of Lindsey pixie dust. If you don’t dance at least three times while listening to this album then you need to take off your Mr. Grinch panties cus this is dancing material for sure. Jk… but seriously though. Almost the entire album was recorded with live instrumentation: a full orchestra and big band players. It’s big.”
In addition to releasing a new album, you will currently find Lindsey on season 25 of Dancing With The Stars. Just this week, Lindsey and her partner Mark Ballas received a perfect store for their Argentine Tango.
Warmer In The Winter is available now. If you’ve yet to hear the album, check out our review here.
