Earlier today, Maroon 5 hit yet another milestone. Just over a year after its release, the band’s music video for Sugar hit one billion views. Yes, you read that right. One BILLION.
Vevo congratulated the band on this massive achievement and a couple of hours later a tweet was sent from Maroon 5’s official twitter account, thanking their fans.
Congrats @Maroon5! "Sugar" just hit 1 BILLION views ? https://t.co/dtAVJRhrYQ #Sugar1BOnVevohttps://t.co/3CSWwpAK1E

Maroon 5’s second most watched video One More Night isn’t doing too bad either with almost 500 million views to date, but the gap with Sugar is astounding. It’s not that surprising, though – Sugar went viral in the first weeks after its release, the video filled with some wonderful footage of the band crashing a couple of LA weddings quickly winning over the hearts of millions (or, well, billions).
If, for some odd reason, you still haven’t seen the video, here it is.
What do you think? Is Sugar Maroon 5’s best video so far? Any other videos of them you would like to see hit the one billion mark? Let us know in the comments below or over at @CelebMix.
