Nashville Season 5 Airing in the UK This Spring

Since the US country music drama Nashville was picked up by CMT after being dropped by ABC last year, UK fans of the hit show have been waiting with baited breath to find out if it would be airing on British TV.

But the wait is finally over as Sky Living have just announced that they have secured the rights to air the drama which stars Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Sam Palladio, Charles Esten, and more, in the UK.

Season 4 ended on a cliffhanger with Avery Barkley (Jonathan Jackson) finding out that his estranged ex-wife and mother of his child, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) had been involved in a plane crash.

US fans will already know what is going on in season 5 as the CMT premiered the latest season in December 2016, but UK fans will have to wait to find out what happens next.

Fortunately for British “Nashies” as they are known they will only have to wait until the Spring for the new season to air on Sky Living.
