The star-studded line up for the 2017 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day has been announced.

Combining music with tennis, heading up this year’s show is Sofia Carson, whose latest movie Descendants 2 is set to premiere on July 21. The multi-talented performer is sure to perform her current hit, ‘Back To Beautiful’ in addition to her debut single, ‘Love Is The Name’ which has accumulated over 81 million views. Sofia will also be hosting on the day.

Singer-songwriter and YouTuber Alex Aiono will also be performing, and is sure to set the stage alight with his slick vocals and moves. With over 5 million YouTube subscribers, Alex has garnered a huge following thanks to his covers and original material. Alex will be co-hosting alongside Sofia on the day. Also on the line up are duo Jack & Jack, made up of Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky. The pair have been on the rise since 2013, selling over 1.5 million singles and selling out countless gigs worldwide.

UK band New Hope Club will be bringing a great energy to the stage. Made up of Blake Richardson, George Smith, and Reece Bibby, the band have already released their debut EP which is bound to be a huge hit during the festival. Rounding up the line up is Saving Forever. Made up of brothers Khaden, Kye and Kavah, the young group have already started to wow audiences with their acclaimed first single ‘Twenty 1’.

Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day has been a launching ground and showcase for numerous artists. Past performers include Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Rihanna, Jonas Brothers, Fifth Harmony, Ne-Yo, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and more.

This year’s Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day will take place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre in Flushing Meadows, NY on Saturday August 26 (9:30am – 4pm). The festival of tennis, music and fun will honour the legacy of pioneer Arthur Ashe whilst also marking the start of the 2017 US Open. Tennis stars including two-time US Open champion Novak Djokovic will also be in attendance.

During the festival, we will also see the official launch of Net Generation. The project aims to inspire the next generation of tennis players by embracing all aspects of youth play, providing a safe connection to the sport for kids aged 5-18 whilst allowing them to celebrate their individuality.

Between 9:30am and 12:30pm, kids will be able to try out Net Generation tennis whilst also enjoying some live music and family friendly activities. The ticketed Stadium show will take place between 1pm and 3pm, with tickets available now through Ticketmaster, US Open and at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center box office. General admission promenade tickets cost $10 whilst loge tickets are $25.

Speaking about the event, Gordon Smith, USTA Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer said: “Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day is a fantastic way to pay tribute to Arthur Ashe. We’re thrilled to launch Net Generation–the largest youth initiative in the sports history–at this incredible event.”

If you are unable to attend this year’s Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, it will be broadcast nationally on ABC on Sunday, August 27, from 2pm – 3pm (ET).
