Listening to covers of one of your favourite artists is always a fun way to spend your time. It’s super interesting to see people’s takes on songs, whether they’re similar to the original or completely different! However, there’s no doubt in saying that it’s a feeling that can’t be described when one of your favourite artists covers another one of your favourite artists.

We’ve compiled a list of 10 covers of your favourite artists by your favourite artists for you to enjoy. Without further ado, and in no particular order, let’s get started!

    1. Do I Wanna Know? (Arctic Monkeys) by Dua Lipa

Starting off strong with Dua Lipa’s incredible cover of Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Do I Wanna Know?’ from their critically acclaimed album AM. This cover truly showcases the immense amount of talent and versatility Dua Lipa holds.

    2. Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) by Panic! At The Disco

A timeless classic performed by another timeless band. Have a listen at Panic! At The Disco’s take on Queen’s legendary ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ for the Suicide Squad soundtrack.

    3. Teenage Dream (Katy Perry) by 5 Seconds of Summer

Would this list even feel complete if we didn’t include 5 Seconds of Summer’s iconic cover of Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’? This still makes us emotional, perhaps even more so now than when we first discovered it!

    4. Can’t Help Falling In Love (Elvis Presley) by Twenty One Pilots

This is genuinely one of the most beautiful and calming covers to exist. Twenty One Pilots’ cover of Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ is something that will melt your heart.

    5. Somebody Else (The 1975) by Charlie Puth

Charlie Puth’s cover of The 1975’s ‘Somebody Else’ is something else. There’s no way we could possibly describe it, so just take a listen below.

    6. The Middle (Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey) by 5 Seconds of Summer

There’s no such thing as too much 5 Seconds of Summer, so we’ve included another one of their covers! After the recent release of their new single ‘Want You Back’, the 5SOS guys performed a cover of Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey’s ‘The Middle’.

    7. Attention (Charlie Puth) by Halsey

Charlie Puth’s ‘Attention’ was no doubt a huge hit. Halsey’s rendition of this song is unique to her style and she executes it perfectly.

    8. What Makes You Beautiful (One Direction) by The 1975

This is ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ like you’ve never heard it before! The 1975 takes One Direction’s debut single and strips it back to something very different to the original.

    9. Stitches (Shawn Mendes) by State Champs

As part of Punk Goes Pop Vol.7, State Champs took on Shawn Mendes’ ‘Stitches’. The cover highlights how different emotions can be elicited from listening to songs just from the way they sound. If you want a cover that the artist has made completely their own, this is one for you.

    10. Love Me Like You Do (Ellie Goulding) by All Time Low

We’re rounding off this list with another strong cover. Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low gives a whole new meaning to Ellie Goulding’s ‘Love Me Like You Do’.
