While One Direction has officially taken a hiatus, there has been no sign of slowing down for the lads in projects both professional and personal. Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam have stayed busy during their break from touring and they’ve all used some of their time off to benefit and support different charity organizations. From Harry cutting his locks for The Little Princess Trust and Niall designing a T-Shirt to benefit two different organizations to Louis’ work with Soccer Aid and Liam taking part in Jamie’s Food Challenge, the boys are always looking for ways to give back, and that’s just a small part of what they’ve done so far in 2016.
For fans of One Direction, being able to support the charities that are close to the hearts of the boys is important. It’s a way that the fanbase stands together to show Liam, Niall, Louis, and Harry how thankful they are for what they do, while there are plenty of accounts that keep fans updated with 1D charity involvement, sometimes things can get missed, and some fans of the boys put together an account to try to help make it easier to keep up.
1DCharityInfo is a new account that will try to make it more simple for fans to keep up with the different projects that the boys, and their family members, get involved with. One of the ways One Direction fans have kept up with charity involvement up to this point has been One Direction NDA, a safe place for fans that also aims to support the causes close to the hearts of Louis, Harry, Niall, and Liam. On top of that, One Direction NDA has their own fundraisers for said charities and 1D Charity Info also aims to assist with that. It’s an incredibly kind gesture to set aside time to create an account to house all of this important information in one place!
It’s always incredible to see the ways that fans of One Direction can put aside their differences in support and adoration of the boys who have given them, and the rest of the world, so much.
