With the 2016 American Music Awards being only days away, fans are gearing up to watch some show-stopping performances from an admirable star-studded lineup.

The annual ceremony, hosted by Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah, has announced a wide range of artists and genres to perform. Rock legend, Sting will be making his AMA debut, in addition to accepting this year’s Award of Merit. This honor is given to musicians who have made outstanding contributions to the music industry. It was last presented to Annie Lennox back in 2008.

Other big names set to take the stage include Green Day, James Bay, Bruno Mars, John Legend, Lady Gaga, Twenty One Pilots, Fifth Harmony, Maroon 5 with Kendrick Lamar, Fifth Harmony, The Weeknd, DJ Khaled, Shawn Mendes and Niall Horan who will perform his debut single, “This Town.”

The Chainsmokers and Halsey are also performing their chart-topping duet, “Closer.” The single topped the Billboard charts for 12 consecutive weeks. Ariana Grande, a contender for “Artist of the Year” will be sharing the stage with Nicki Minaj to perform their hit, “Side to Side.” Justin Bieber will also be performing from his Purpose tour in Zurich, Switzerland. This will mark the “Love Yourself” singer’s sixth time performing at the show.

A few artists took to Twitter to show their excitement for the fun-filled evening.
