    2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations are announced

    The nominations for the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards are in! From Justin Bieber to Sia, the industry’s biggest names are in the running as we celebrate another sensational year of music.

    Drake and The Chainsmokers claimed the most nods with 12 and 11 under their belts. Additional contenders up for awards include Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, twenty one pilots, Rihanna and Ariana Grande, while Bruno Mars has been the first artist announced to perform.

    “With iHeartRadio now reaching such a diverse audience, this year we have expanded to giving awards in more than 30 categories,” said John Sykes, president of iHeartMedia Entertainment Enterprises. There are eight socially voted categories as well, allowing fans to get involved with the voting process.

    The annual event is set to air live on March 5 from the Forum in Los Angeles. The show will be televised on TBS, TNT and truTV at 8 p.m./7c. Tickets go on pre-sale today and are available to the public starting Friday.
