Theron Thomas is a GRAMMY winner for ‘Songwriter Of The Year’, the third highest streamed songwriter in the world, and above all, a role model for young Black creatives. His current achievements follow a legacy of hits built from more than a decade of work and spanning the scope of countless genres.
In 2024 alone, Theron Thomas has already embarked on enterprises including Justin Timberlake’s “Selfish” and Usher’s newly released album Coming Home. Even delving into the K-pop scene with his work on BTS singer Jungkook’s #1 debut single “Seven (feat. Latto)”, there’s no genre that Thomas has left unturned. Coming off a sweltering summer with his 2023 hit “How We Roll” for Ciara and Chris Brown and his #2 Billboard Hot 100/ #1 R&B charting single “All My Life” for Lil Durk and J. Cole, Thomas is captivating the charts. While simultaneously proving his dedication to fostering new voices by working with artists among the likes of Ayla and Sekou, Thomas continues to be a pivotal force at the epicenter of music.
Theron Thomas is a Caribbean artist from St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. He came to the United States with his brother and creative counterpart Timo Makaveli with only $35 in their pockets. Since then, Thomas has worked alongside artists including Beyoncé, Lizzo, Kim Petras, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna to name a few. He is the first ever Black ‘Songwriter Of The Year’ and hopes to use his achievement to open doors for other Black artists.
