While past few days have been huge for K-Pop group BTS, it’s been particularly special for one member, V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung. Just a day before performing on KBS Song Festival, V was declared as having the most handsome face of 2017. It’s about time V started getting recognition for his visuals! To end the week off, today (December 30th) is his 22nd birthday (23rd in Korea).
Fans from around the world have been showing their appreciation for V with different fan projects and hashtags. From the moment the clock struck 12 in South Korea, fans started using the hashtags #TAETAEisLOVE, #HappyVDay, #Veautiful_DAY and #WePurpleUTaehyung on Twitter, with several of the hashtags trending worldwide.
Fans also temporarily changed their Twitter icons in the days leading up to V’s birthday. Can we just say this is one of the cutest fan projects we’ve ever seen?
