One Direction has been on hiatus for almost a year now, and it’s been the same amount of time since we got any new One Direction music videos. Somehow we’ve survived, but it’s been hard. Luckily, we can reminisce about the great music videos we’ve gotten over the years. From fun antics to serious pondering, we’ve collected our favorite ones right here for you!
One Thing
One of the videos off of their first album, One Thing is a fun shoutout to London. The dance moves are on point, and the boys look like they had so much fun filming this video. It’s upbeat and joyful, perfect for a day that you’re feeling a bit down.
One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)
This video felt more personal than some of their other videos while retaining the same sense of fun present in so many of their other ones. The video takes place around the world, from New York City to Japan, from Africa to London. It even features a special appearance from British Prime Minister David Cameron.
Story of My Life
In one of One Direction’s more sentimental videos, Story of My Life is a lovely, reminiscent video detailing One Direction’s past. The boys reenacted some childhood photos. This video really pulls at your heartstrings!
Night Changes
Let’s be honest – we’ve all wondered what it would be like to go on a date with the boys of One Direction at some point or another. In this video, we get to experience it as best we can. Each boy takes a person on a date, and each date gets disrupted in some way.
Drag Me Down
This music video was out of this world! The boys went to NASA, and we got to see them mess around with some space equipment, all while looking like their usual fabulous selves.
BONUS – No Control from Carpool Karaoke
Unfortunately, One Direction didn’t release a video for their song “No Control.” However, we got this gem when the boys were on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. The matching outfits and choreographed dance moves wow us every time!
