After what felt like a lifetime of waiting not-so-patiently, Little Mix have finally blessed the music industries ears and released one of the best albums this year ‘Get Weird’. After listening to the album about one billion times,these are the three songs that the whole world needs to hear… like now.
Secret Love Song
The duet with the one and only Jason Derulo was expected to be one of the most uptempo high energy tracks from the girls album, but instead we were treated to their best love song of all time. A modern Romeo and Juliet story but with more high notes and harmony… and longevity.
Lightning
Normally the longest songs on albums tend to be the ones you skip.. but this isn’t the case with Lightning. The older sister to their smash hit ‘DNA’ has gone above and beyond, blowing everyone’s minds. From bass drops, to finger snaps, to singing in Latin. Little Mix could not have produced a song that begged to be a single more than this.
Grown
After debuting this at the Apple Music Festival there was only one thing that Grown had left in everyone’s minds, “When does the music video for this drop?” Grown is the perfect pop track that you imagine everyone requesting at parties and with the help of the incredible Jess Glynne, the song would be a guaranteed hit.
