5 Reasons Why Cheryl and Selena Gomez Should Collaborate

US superstar Selena Gomez has recently announced that her her new album is well under way, and as we all know UK pop princess Cheryl is currently recording her fifth  studio album.

So here we give you five reasons why the two powerhouses of pop need to collaborate as soon as possible.

1: They both have huge fanbases. 

The singers are two of the most successful artists in recent history and they both have huge followings all over the world. So any possible release featuring both Cheryl and Selena would no doubt me a massive worldwide smash-hit.

2: They are fans of each others music.  

Selena Gomez has made no secret of the fact that she is a huge fan of Cheryl, she even thanked the Geordie babe in her 2010 album ‘A Year Without Rain’ thank you notes. Plus Gomez covered Cheryl’s 2010 hit single ‘Parachute’. And Cheryl has shared her love for Selena’s music, last year she took to Instagram to say she was loving Selena’s hit ‘Good For You’, captioning the singles artwork:“Love this”. 

3:They are both strong women.  

Both Selena and Cheryl have been through very public break-ups, they have both been victims of very cruel body-shaming, and both have suffered from health problems. But they have both bounced back with grace and beauty and are now stronger, happier and healthier than ever before.

4: They both put on amazing shows.

Cheryl and Selena are famous for their impressive dance skills and both girls always put on an incredible show whenever they perform live. Just imagine the epic dance routine if these two collaborated and released a video and performed live together.

5: They both release banger’s. 

Both Selena and Cheryl have released some absolute banger’s in the past. Who can forget classics like ‘Call My Name’ and ‘Come and Get It’? Just imagine the epic track these two would release together, it would no doubt be an instant classic.

So there you have it, five reasons why we need a Cheryl Ft. Selena or Selena Ft. Cheryl, track in our lives right now.
